Germantown Residents for Economic Alternatives Together
The Germantown Climate Resilience Planning project is a partnership between Germantown Residents for Economic Alternatives Together (GREAT) and the Academy of Natural Sciences (ANS). A Team of GREAT members are shaping the development of the project and connecting it to fellow community members; ANS brings their scientific expertise and resources to co-lead.
Spanning 2025 and 2026, the project includes several community engagement activities, mapping of challenges and assets, practical skills, and identifying / producing solutions, resources, and policies to make Germantown more resilient to climate change.

If you live in Germantown,
It will ask you questions about your experience with heat, flooding, and other climate-related issues in Germantown. Your responses will help inform the process and outcomes of this project.
